Service and Social Action

Faith is inseparably connected to service. At the University of Saint Francis, Service and Social Action, located in the Campus Ministry Building, provides numerous opportunities to serve the needs of the Fort Wayne community and beyond.

Campus Ministry Service

Alternative Spring Break Trip

During Spring Break each year, a group of University of Saint Francis students give a week of service in rural Kentucky through the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) WorkFest.

The group is led by two USF faculty or staff members who serve alongside the students.

Highlights include:

  • Repairing houses
  • Fellowship (including foot-stomping bluegrass)
  • Life-changing friendships

The cost per person is subsidized by Campus Ministry, so each student only pays $100. This includes transportation, lodging, and meals.
